Horse Powered Learning

This proven program uses horses, big or small, to help with literacy, math skills, and even behavioral issues. Each 30-minute private session or 60-minute group session focuses on individual needs or general educational concepts your student wants help with.

During the sessions, a single horse or multiple horses participate as children play learning games, read, or address difficult situations. Props may be used to assist with reading or to name challenges in their lives.

The presence of horses provides a listening ear and helps students relate to the stories of the horses' backgrounds. Many students are encouraged to read, solve problems, or discuss their own situations with these intuitive animals and a trained facilitator.

$50 private lesson (30 minutes)

$35 group lesson (2-4 people; 60 minutes)
